Entered in 1964 as an early entrant, schooling interrupted by a three year term in the US Army Signal Corp with graduation in 1973. Was Techincal Director of Green Curtain theater for 1965 F through 1967F, except for Spring 1967 when TA of the new Language Lab.

Was employed until retirement in broadcasting, the last 31 years by the ABC TV Network. Spent the last decades of his career representing ABC/Disney at various technical bodies in the areas of Advanced Television, Intellectual Property Rights and Closed Captiong.

In 2005 ABC shared a technical Emmy with the Consumer Electronnis Association and PBS for 'Documentation of Closed Captioning'. Chaired one of the two CEA Working Groups on Closed Captioning, with the other being chaired by PBS.

In 2009 was the Chair of the IEEE New York Section.

In retirement is doing pro bono work for CEA in the area of Closed Captioning.

Married and living in the New York Hudson Valley.
