Shimer metcalf

Metcalf Hall on the original Shimer College campus in Mount Carroll, Illinois.

Metcalf Hall was the principal administration building on the Mount Carroll campus of Shimer College. Built in 1907, it was the second building completed after the Fire of 1906. It was named for an early Shimer student, Sarah Metcalf.
