Mary Scott, née Mary Mooney, was a student at Shimer College in the Seminary period, graduating in 1875.
The 1870 Carroll County census shows her as 15 years old, in the household of local grain buyer James Mooney.[1]
The 1903 Annual Calendar still shows her by her maiden name, but without location; by 1911, she is shown by her married name in New Berlin, Illinois.
