Lola St. Vil (b. 1978) is an author, playwright and actress based on California. She is the author of the Guardians series of young adult novels. A play by St. Vil, The Bones of Lesser Men, won the NAACP award for Best Playwright in 2009. Born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn, St. Vil studied at Shimer College and Columbia College Chicago.
