1890-11-23 inter ocean musical melange p12 totten in wabash.pdf

This is the text of an article from the Sunday, November 23, 1890 issue of the Inter-Ocean titled "Musical Melange".

A concert was recently given at the Presbyterian Church at Wabash, Ind., by a party of Chicago artists, in which Miss Luella Totten is reported to have carried off the honors of the occasion. Her performances upon the piano were marked by a graceful and artistic execution, which not only won the enthusiastic plaudits of the audience, but reflected great credit upon Professor William Sherwood, of the Chicago Conservatory, with whom she is at present studying. Miss Totten is from Pittsburg, but spends her winters in this city while perfecting herself in art, for which she seems to have a natural genius.
