Frances Kamrar, nee Frances Sabin, was a student at Shimer College in the Seminary period. She was the third daughter of Freeport-area farmer Ralph Sabin. She married in October 1865,[1] and is not listed in the 1862 catalog, so must have attended between the years of 1862 and 1865 inclusive. Her husband was John Kamrar, a noted Iowa lawyer and politician.
