The North quad was a small open area on the Waukegan campus of Shimer College, between the Gymnasium, Prairie House and KoKo House. It was connected to the much larger South quad (after this took shape in the summer of 1994), by the Moon Walk.
Unlike the grassy South Quad, the North Quad was heavily landscaped, with brick and pavement walkways between planters.
