John R. Wikse (b. 1944) is an American political scientist and educator. He is a former member of the faculty at Shimer College, and currently serves as faculty coordinator of the degree completion program at the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies at Sonoma State University. At Shimer, Wikse also led the school's Oxford study abroad program and the weekend degree program. Wikse also formerly served as Research Director at the Lifwynn Foundation.
